In June 2023, Emily P. Wheeler launched her latest collection, Rebels– an ode to Emily’s teen years when pushing boundaries was her modus operandi. For Emily, growing up in the 1990s and early 2000s was about visiting the Mall and cruising Hot Topic, and getting into trouble. This collection reflects the spirit of Emily's youth while maintaining the elevated sophistication synonymous with the brand today.
Punk Rock Luxury
The collection draws from specific memories of Drew Barrymore in chokers, Lisa Frank trapper keepers, and scarabs from school trips to the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, elevated with modern and luxurious materials. Pink and green convey Emily’s preppy New England upbringing, juxtaposed with accents of black symbolizing her love of punk rock and going to concerts at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in her black and white Chuck Taylors.
