The Materials

This collection brings together more grounded, elemental materials: leather, suede, shell, Tahitian pearls, wood, and carved stone. Each carries its own texture and presence — softness against structure, refinement against rawness. There is color, of course, but also earth. Weight. Salt. Skin. Movement. The materials feel tactile and lived-in, shaped as much by feeling as by form. Shell and pearls reflect the sea that inspired the collection, while wood, stone, leather, and suede bring a sense of warmth and connection to the land. Together they create something free and instinctive — less polished in the expected way, and more touched by nature.

“After traveling to Tahiti many times, with many generations of family, and I’ve fallen deeply in love with the richness of its biodiversity—the way every flower, shell, and landscape feels both ancient and alive. Fenua is my homage to that vitality, translating the island’s flora and fauna into pieces that feel elemental, sensual, and enduring.”
