Orbit Ring, Diamond & Pink Opal

From the Sphere Collection, the Orbit Ring in pink opal and diamond centers the soft, opaque color of pink opal within an elongated frame of pavé diamonds and gold. Open space separates the two elements, giving the opal a sense of suspension and drawing attention to the contrast between its smooth, quiet surface and the sharp flashes of the surrounding diamonds. The oversized proportions turn that contrast into something sculptural, with blush pink, white light, and negative space each becoming part of the composition. Viewed from different angles, the relationship between the center stone and its orbit continually changes, giving the ring movement even at rest.
