From the Sphere Collection, the Orbit Ring in pink sapphire and pink opal builds an entire composition from variations of a single color. A softly opaque pink opal sits within an elongated orbit of vivid pink sapphires and gold, moving the eye between pale blush and more saturated tones. Negative space separates the two fields of pink, allowing the difference in texture and intensity to become as important as the color itself. The opal absorbs light while the sapphires reflect it, creating a shifting relationship between softness and brilliance as the ring moves. Tonal but never quiet, the design explores just how much dimension can exist within pink.
